Neha Adnan is a former Pakistani actress and host who hails from Lahore. She acted in multiple PTV dramas and sitcoms which aired from Lahore centre. Her popular projects include PTV’s drama serial Anokha Laadla and Nawab Manzil. In Anokha Laadla, she played Adnan Jillani’s wife, after which they got married too. Neha left her career after getting married to Adnan. The couple has been married for 14 years.
Recently, Neha Adnan and Adnan Jillani appeared on Ambreen Fatima’s Youtube channel. In their interview, they talked about Humayun Saeed. Neha called out Mere Paas Tum Ho director Nadeem Baig for ranking Humayun Saeed above Bollywood’s Khans.
Talking about comparison with Bollywood actors, she said, “In our showbiz industry, we have so many bigger names but we should not compare them with Indian actors. It bothers me a lot especially when people troll actors when they compare themselves with Bollywood actors. Why do they feel proud to be compared with the Bollywood stars? They are way ahead of us in terms of technology, creativity, and content. They are global stars; their industry has gone international. Our actors should respect each other.”
She further added, “Recently a big director said, ‘Humayun Saeed is bigger than the Khans of Bollywood; he’s more popular and is a bigger star, and I will always prefer him above them.’ I mean, please, why?
