Bulbulay is a Pakistani family sitcom about an unconventional Pakistani family. The show is directed by Rana Rizwan, written by Ali Imran and Saba Hassan, and produced by Nabeel, who also played the lead character of the show. The show gained popularity after the introduction of Hina Dilpazeer, who plays Mumtaz (Momo).
Bulbulay was first aired 22 October 2009 on ARY Digital and was later broadcast on ARY Digital in the UK. It is a successful sitcom with a high TRP, and it holds the record for the longest-running television series of Pakistan.
Khawaja Akmal who played the role of Siddiqui Sahab (khubsoorat’s father), was a part of bulbulay. He died of a heart attack on 26 November 2017. No one was replaced for his character till now.
Recently Mehmood Aslam Revealed the news that actor Khalid Anam will be the new addition to the cast of Bulbulay Season2, replacing Khawaja Akmal and the entire team is excited to work with him.
