Nida Yasir is one of the most successful morning show hosts of Pakistan. She has been hosting her show for a decade and a half and she has been a part of several controversies throughout. She was once again under scrutiny recently for her show Shan e Suhoor as people had questions about decisions regarding guest invitations.
Nida Yasir recently invited two veteran stars Faryal Gohar and Jamal Shah on the show together. They were divorced in 1992 and the show had its moments of awkwardness as the two old marriage partners sat face to face. They shared old stories of their togetherness as well as romance. Nida received criticism for inviting the two together.
Nida has now clarified why she did this. She explained her decision. She said that she invited the two together as she wanted the world to see how you can be graceful even if your relationship breaks. They did not flung mud at each other and showed the world how to maintain camaraderie after divorce. This was the reason she invited them together. People just misunderstood her intention.
