Nida Yasir is a popular Pakistani television personality, admired for her hosting skills. She has been part of the entertainment industry for around 26 years and has been hosting ARY Digital’s morning show, Good Morning Pakistan, for nearly 18 years. During the show, Nida often shares valuable advice and her personal life experiences with viewers.

In one of the recent episodes of Good Morning Pakistan, Nida Yasir gave advice to parents regarding children’s solo travel.

Talking about the topic, Nida Yasir said, “Instead of spending all your money on properties, houses, jewellery, and other material things, create memories. Many people can’t even cross the road because their parents have been overprotective and kept them in a comfort zone. They can’t do anything on their own. If someone can’t confidently cross the road, how will they spend their life independently? Parents should encourage their children to travel solo because they won’t be with them forever. That’s why we educate our children—to make them independent. Teach them creative skills, let them travel alone, and allow them to go from Karachi to Lahore by themselves. Some people object and say, ‘Don’t send children alone,’ but your children will never learn independence if you never let them go on their own.” Watch here :
Social media users heavily criticized Nida Yasir, saying she appeared out of touch with the reality of Pakistan’s current situation. One fan wrote, “Bibi, which country do you live in? Do you even know the situation in Pakistan, where children aren’t safe?” Another commented, “We can’t even send our children to the market to buy groceries because families are receiving their dead bodies.” A third user remarked, “Send our children alone? Where? In Pakistan, pedophiles and murderers are roaming free.” One woman advised parents to “keep your children protected under your wings in Pakistan,” while another user added that children are not safe because, according to them, abusers and murderers continue to roam free due to weak law enforcement.
