In response to her question, “We knew about other celebrity weddings, but yours was unexpected. Would you like to share how it happened?”. Omer Shahzad said, “Our families were in contact regarding the wedding, but holding it in Madina was a mutual decision. It was my wish to have the Nikah in Madina. I discussed it with my fiancée, and she got so emotional about it as it was her wish too. At that time, I wasn’t aware of other industry weddings. In fact, I wasn’t even sure about my own wedding—it all happened by the will of Allah. Everything happened so quickly: my brother arrived from Germany with his family, my parents reached there, and my fiancée’s family also came.
We held the Nikah with just 21 guests. In Madina, there were many restrictions, but with the help of my friend, we managed everything. My friend’s Alim wanted to recite my Nikah, and he graciously gave us time. By the grace of Almighty Allah, we got Nikahfied and it went smoothly”. Here is the link to the video:
