Junaid Jamshed was a brilliant Pakistani former singer and Naat Khuwan. He was a successful businessman as well. Junaid Jamshed spent his later life in the preaching of Islam. His notable Naats are, Mere Nabi Pyare Nabi, Meetha Meetha, Muhammad ( P.B.U.H) Ka Roza and Hamd Ilahi Teri Chokhat per and Mera Dil Badal De. Junaid Jamshed died in a plan crash in Skardu in December 2016. He was on a religious trip to Skardu. He left three sons, a daughter and a widow. His son Babur Junaid Jamshed often appears on television. Babur loves to recite his father’s Naats as well.

Lately, Babur Junaid Jamshed made an appearance in Nadir Ali’s podcast. In the podcast, Nadir Ali and Babur talked about Junaid Jamshed’s last voice note, his death news and wish of Martyrdom (Shahadat).

Talking about the last voice note, Nadir Ali said, “If you allow, I want to know about your last moments with Junaid Jamshed. I would also like to talk about his last voice note which was shared by Arsalan Bhai, who used be with him. I heard his last voice note, I heard that he used to say MashaAllah, Insha Allah very frequently but in that last voice note he said, “I will come to Karachi” and by the will of Allah, he forgot to say In Sha Allah and it never happened, this was again Allah’s will”. Talking about it, Babur Junaid Jamshed said, “I was at home when we heard Baba’s new. My mother told this to me but again, I want to tell you something. I have never shared it before that he wanted Shahadat. He used to say, ‘I know my ills and wrongdoings, I want to be forgiven’ and that’s why he wanted the death of Shahadat. It was our father’s biggest wish to embrace Shahadat, you won’t believe that he always used to do the same Dua in which he used to ask Shahadat. We used to get worried, my mother used to get angry on his prayers but it was like that”. Babur Junaid Jamshed also said that he was very good, kind, humble and friendly person and these qualities were gifted to him by Allah.

Amjad Farid Sabri was a famous Pakistani Qawwal and Naat khawan. He was was born in 1976 and was shot dead in Karachi on 22nd June 2016, in Ramadan. He was the son of renowned Qawwal Ghulam Farid Sabri and was the nephew of Maqbool Ahmed Sabri of the famous ‘Sabri Brothers alliance’. Amjad Sabri made a substantial name through his live Qawali singing. He was one of the most well-known Qawwals of South Asia. After his tragic death, his son Mujaddid Amjad Sabri took up his father’s legacy of Qawwali recitation and is now successfully doing live shows.

Lately, Mujaddid Amjad Sabri made an appearance in Nadir Ali’s podcast along with Junaid Jamshed’s son Babur. They both remembered their fathers. Mujaddid shared interesting details of his father’s close encounter with robbers in India.

Talking about it, Mujaddid Amjad said, “Amjad Sabri had to reach Delhi from another city Jhansi in India (where he was performing the show), because he had to catch his flight to Lahore in Delhi but the audience in Jhansi didn’t let him go and he kept on reciting for the whole night, the event extended for three more hours. It was late night and locals stopped him from road trip but he planned it. They stopped at a tea stall at night, the tea stall owners were already playing Bhar Do Jholi when Baba’s driver introduced him to tea stall owners that this song is by Amjad Sabri’s father and he himself is a big Qawwal. They made him sat there and made tea for him, the dangerous robbers were also sitting nearby him and upon knowing about him, they came to him, greeted him, heard Qawali and gave gifts as well, not only this, they also guided him to take safe routes from this area because the decoits and robbers are hiding in the bushes because it is their time of robbery”. She said, “I am Nooran Lal, I want to talk about the current situation in the country. I am talking about the bills and heavy taxes. I got two meters at home to keep our units controlled despite that they have given us heavy bills on both meters I got bills worth 40 thousand and 33 thousand on both meters along with heavy taxes. We are artists, we don’t have any other businesses. We are barely managing. I am a single woman who is running a house. It is really difficult to deal with finances at home and now we are gifted with these bills. We have always done PTV shows. We didn’t demand anything from them and now we are getting these bills. Ayesha Jehanzeb conducted a press conference and opened up about her abusive second marriage. The host is currently following the legal procedures and also waiting her wounds to heal. She had filed the case against her husband Haris Ali after which he is arrested by the police.
