Feroze Khan and Syeda Aliza got separated in September 2022. Soon after their divorce, they indulged into a legal battle regarding the custody of their kids. Well, Feroze Khan and Syeda Aliza Sultan had followed their kids’ custody case for around eighteen months. Finally, the custody battle between the two reached a settlement. Society is cruel and this has been established time and again in this world. Women especially have to go through a lot and any woman who goes out and works has a lot of pressure to deal with. In Pakistan, women can have only certain professions where they can work agreeably and they will be judged if they break out of that mould. One such woman who has been working in the outside world and changed her appearance into a man is Farheen Ishtiaq who is also known as the real life Bakhtawar.

Farheen has been working in Lahore for years and she is a single mother who is bringing up her 15 year old daughter. She was a guest on Morning With Fiza and she talked about how her life came about as it is today.

Farheen revealed that she got married 16 years ago and it was a love marriage. Her marriage only stayed on for 6 months and her husband disappeared on her. She has since been working her socks off to support her child.

She revealed that she tried to look for him for a whole year and then realized that he had played her. She then never went looking for him again. He contacted her a year after disappearing and asked to give him their child, a child he did not even know was a girl or a boy. Her daughter is 15 now and she wanted to connect with her father. Farheen asked her daughter that she has no problems if she can find her father and meet him but she knows the kind of man hee ex husband is.

Waseem Badami is a famous Pakistani television host and news person. He has been serving ARY Digital and Ary News for around fifteen years. Waseem Badami is well-known for his shows like 11th Hour, Har Lamha Purjosh and Shaan E Ramzan. Waseem Badami is lately making headlines for his Ramadan transmission “Shan E Ramzan”. In the show, Hina Dilpazeer had a detailed discussion with the hosts about her acting and personal life. Hina also talked about the love she got for her iconic character Momo. Hina shared a few incidents where fans went crazy and over-excited to see her. Nadia Khan also shared a distasteful encounter with a fan and her family.

Once, I was out with my father who was sick and wanted to spend some time with me outside. I took my father with me,ordered food and sat with him, I was making sure to be with him as I had to attend him. While I was having my family time, a fan came to me and requested me to join her party for pictures. I humbly refused her request after explaining the reason. She then sent her husband, who started fighting with me, he said , ‘Do you know you are public property?’ It made me angry, I retorted, ‘Who told you that I am public property, and how dare you speak to me like that?’ Imagine, the husband started misbehaving with me at his wife’s behest. He should have rather refused his wife, but instead, he chose to confront me.”

Pakistani cinema was making huge strides post 2014. Many big and experimental films were not only released in the cinemas but they were also getting very good reception. Verna was one such film starring Mahira Khan and Haroon Shahid in the lead roles. Verna was a thriller with killer music and a genre not really explored in Pakistan. It got decent reception and it gave a chance to Mahira Khan to show diversity.

Haroon Shahid also made his acting debut with Verna. He was a musician before and Verna launched him into acting. He has talked about his shaky debut several times and he has admitted that he did not even know the basics of filming when he was working in Verna. He learnt to act later on with projects. Talking in the show Life Green Hai, Haroon revealed that not Mahira Khan but a Bollywood actress was supposed to do Verna.

Haroon revealed that Kareena Kapoor Khan was supposed to do the film. At that time, Kareena got married and she was expecting her first son Taimoor Ali Khan thus she could not travel for the shoot and Mahira Khan was later roped in for the role.

Ramadan transmissions are a staple every year and all channels come up with their own versions and segments of hours long transmissions. Shan e Ramzan is one of the oldest transmissions being run on mainstream television. Waseem Badami is the primary host and he has introduced several segments in the show.

A segment with kids is one of the highlights and we have seen Ahmed Shah who became famous from a viral video and his brothers become a part of the transmission. People have objected about putting kids in these shows in the past.
