The new season of dramas looks extremely exciting as many new pairings and unique stories are about to make their way on the mainstream media. Durefishan Saleem is also one actress who is riding high on the success of Kaisi Teri Khudgarzi and people have fallen in love with that drama as well as the character of Mehak. She is now preparing to come back on screens with some high octane projects and her latest one will be with super star Faysal Quraishi.

Faysal Quraishi and Durefishan stars will be appearing in a 7th Sky Productions drama that will be airing on Geo Entertainment. Durefishan Saleem and Faysal Quraishi will be playing the lead roles while we may see two more names in the parallel leads. The drama details are out now and they look exciting.

The drama is titled Khai and it is written by Saqlain Abbas and it is directed by Syed Wajahat Hussain. It will reportedly be a mystery thriller and will be shot in the Northern areas of Pakistan. Haroon Shahid is a singer turned actor. He has been very passionate about his music and we have seen him perform in the coveted Coke Studio. Haroon Shahid made his acting debut with the Shoaib Mansoor film Verna. He later on came towards dramas and he has not looked back since starring in dramas like Do Bol and Qayamat. He said that he knows people who would not even pay 30k to a musician though they may have earned in millions themselves. This is a dark side of the industry and there are no standards about how much a musician should be paid resulting in more exploitation by big stars.

Sanam Jung is a loved celebrity in Pakistan. She started her career as a VJ and later transitioned into acting with the drama Dil e Muztar which made her a household name. She has since done many dramas in her career and she also hosted a morning show for several years which made her more famous among the audiences. Sanam then told her mom about what had happened and they went back to the hotel.

Sanam revealed that she met Shahid Afridi in Toronto the same day who had been there for some event. On getting to know about Sanam’s predicament, he offered to help her and asked if she needed any money.

Sanam felt nice about his gesture and kindness and told him that her mother was with her but she still will always remember his humility.

Tere Bin was is Geo TV’s hit serial which created a lot of hype. Fans also liked the ending of the serial. Soon after the last episode, Abdullah Kadwani announced the season 2 of the blockbuster drama Tere Bin. The producer thanked the audience for their support in the Tere Bin’s successful journey. Many fans got excited about season 2, they positively responded to the announcement of the producer. The supporters were of the view that they would only root for the season 2 because of Meerab and Murtasim’s romantic scenes.

Majority was against the idea of the producer of making season 2 of the drama. Fans also gave the suggestion that a new progressive script with Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali will go in the favour of the producers instead of making the season 2. In the show they revealed the details of the mob attack which they faced while shooting Teri Meri Kahaniyaan.

Hira Mani said, “The mob attack happened on our set when we were shooting the scene of chaos, there were already a lot of cast members when the two outsiders came and started fighting with our team members. They kept on fighting with us. Things got worse, a few people in our team also got injured because they hit one boy in the head. I kept on telling them that I am Hira Mani but they were on some other agenda. That scene turned really bad”. Mani further added that the most active person during the fight was Hira Mani who called police and rangers. He further said that when police came, the mob went away.

Mani said that he learnt and applied one thing from this incident that one should not react to abuse and fight, if people call you bad, accept it and move on. If someone shouts at you, just keep on going.

The drama is definitely very unique and Mawra looks way different than her other characters. She will be highlighting several aspects of society and social media through Nauroz.

Mawra shared some unknown facts about the shoot of Nauroz and these have been some interesting insights. Nauroz came about when the team was waiting for Ameer Gilani to come back so they could shoot Neem. Nauroz was shot in a valley in Kashmir and she shared that Kashmir had a bad earthquake when she went their for shoot and she recited Kalimah as she was sitting in her hotel room.

Hum TV has been trying to make Jo Bache Hain Samait Lo for quite some time now and many names have been linked to the show until now. Looks like it will finally be made and it will be Pakistan’s first ever official show on Netflix.
