Junaid Jamshed was famous Pakistani Naat Khuwan and religious teacher. He first rose to fame as a popular Pakistani singer. Junaid Jamshed passed away in December 2016 in a tragic plane crash. Recently, his son Babar Junaid Jamshed first time opened up about facing financial difficulties after his father’s death. At the time of our father’s death, he was the only bread earner of our house and we all were students. Well, Allah always tests his selective people”. Javeria Saud and Saud Qasmi make one super successful showbiz couple. they have both worked in many different projects and had successful careers when they got married. Their wedding was the talk of the town back in the day as nearly everyone in the industry was present there. Saud’s family liked Javeria when they saw her on a Qawwali night. They brought all the big stars including Shaan to Javeria’s house and later some army friends to convince them that Saud is a good match.

Pakistani dramas mostly revolve around young couples in their twenties at most fighting the world for love or intertwined in love triangles. Intersex community in Pakistan commonly called Khawaja Sira have experienced oppression and violence since ages. They have been an integral part of the society but could not even identify as their true self on their ID cards for years.l Only a few years ago they got their due recognition and many people in the community are playing their part to uplift the community. Now, they are also finding space on television as we just saw a mainstream hero Muneeb Butt play an intersex character in Sar e Raah and now it is Ali Rehman Khan who will take up the role of Guru in the upcoming Express Television drama Guru.

Guru is traditionally the head in a Khawaja Sira household, a senior who takes care of the household and is responsible to raise many intersex kids who are left by their own parents at their doorsteps. Meesni is a popular Hum television drama serial which airs daily at 7:00 pm. The drama has been written by Muhammad Asif and it has been directed by Meer Sikandar. It’s a Hum Television Network’s presentation. The drama initially got criticism for being the copy of Geo TV’s recently wrapped hit soap serial Siyani in which a poor girl trapped a guy after knowing he’s rich. Meesni followed the same plot but also showed the next generations in it. The cast includes Mamia, Bilal Qureshi, Faiza Gilani and Najeeba Faiz. The drama got a decent viewership and became talk of the town.

Recently, Waleed died in the drama who was one of the main characters of the drama Meesni. A video of Bilal Qureshi’s scene from Meesni is doing rounds on social media in which he died after getting hit by the bullet. Have a look at the scene’s direction:
