Pakistani dramas have been growing marvelously. The popular Pakistani dramas are aired internationally as well. Every year in Ramadan, MBC Bollywood airs around 3 Pakistani dramas on daily basis. MBC Bollywood is a Middle Eastern Television channel for Arabic audiences which shows indian and Pakistani dramas in Arabic dubbing. In the past, we posted the promos of many dramas dubbed in Arabic including Suno Chanda 1&2, Balaa , Cheekh, Gul O Gulzar, Ishqiya and Dushman e Jaan, Mere Paas Tum Ho, Yeh Dil Mera and Kaisa Hai Naseeba, all these shows were telecasted in Arabic language. Showbiz couples are always famous among the masses but Sarah Khan and Falak Shabir are loved by the fans and the industry alike. Ushna Shah and Feroze Khan just featured in Habs which was a hit on the TRP charts and then Feroze Khan got into a massive controversy as his divorce and children’s custody case became a public spectacle. Added to that the allegations of alleged domestic abuse started a domino effect and many celebrities from the industry started condemning the actor. Amir Khan is a British Pakistani boxer whom we have seen performing his best in rights and has been a world champion in his career. He became famous after he won a medal in the 2004 Olympics and then had fights with all the heavy weights of the game in his career. Pakistanis have supported Amir’s career a lot and he has received a lot of love from them even after his retirement which he announced last year.

Amir Khan has taken retirement from the world of boxing but the athlete has now been banned from the sport for two years as he was positive on an anti-doping test during his last fight with Kell Brook.

Amir was found positive for taking ostarine, a substance which has similar effects as testosterone. Amir has thus been banned from boxing from April 2022 to April 2024.

The athlete has, however, clarified that he had taken the substance well before the fight and in a very small amount and thus it had no effect on his fight. He also said that he is retired and has no plans to make a comeback thus a ban is not really understandable. He said while talking to Sky Sports:

“I’ve never cheated. But I’ve got a two-year ban now, which is quite strange and funny because I’m already retired anyway. There’s no comeback planned at all. But I’ve never cheated and I never will. That’s just not something I would do.”

Tinkay Ka Sahara is a Hum Television drama serial. The drama has a unique storyline which initially attracted the fans and they started watching it. The story of the drama features a toxic male character Wassay played by Sami Khan. It also features a courageous and innocent girl Qadar’s tough life journey. The drama is produced by Momina Duraid, it is written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah and directed by Zeeshan Ahmed. The stellar cast includes Sonya Hussyn, Sami Khan, Rabab Hashim, Haroon Shahid, Saba Faisal, Ayesha Toor, Adnan Jaffer, Sana askari and Naveed Raza.

Today, the last episode of the drama aired on Hum TV. Well, the drama’s ending was loved by the fans. Viewers loved the fact that the girl Qadar actually acted wisely and didn’t marry her culprit. Talking about the future of JDC, he said, “It (JDC) is a ‘welfare organization’, it’s not an individual’s effort, it is a registered trust, I am an organization, if you will donate an ambulance, would it be mine or would it be JDC’s belonging, it would surely belong to JDC. This is a trust, an NGO and it will keep on running this way, systems will work in the same direction, charitable procedures won’t stop, someone else will take over the charge but it will go on.

There have been some dramas in recent times who were rumoured to be locked but they just got lost somewhere. Here are some dramas that increased the excitement levels when they were announced:

Dastan e Armaghan:

Dastan e Armaghan was a mega project written by Zafar Mairaj and it was supposed to be directed by Adnan Sarwar. It was rumoured to have Ahmed Ali Akbar, Mehwish Hayat, Annie Jaffry, Mawra Hocane, Naveen Waqar and Neelam Muneer in lead roles but it got lost somewhere.

Main Manto Nahi Hoon:

Main Manto Nahi Hoon is written by Khalil ur Rehman Qamar and it was supposed to be directed by Nadeem Baig with Humayun Saeed and Maya Ali in lead roles. But the project was stalled due to the team’s other commitments as it looked like from a far. Earlier Mehwish Hayat was also rumoured to be considered for the lead but the drama definitely got lost somewhere in the process.

Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo:

A hit novel by Farhat Ishtiaq will be dramatized some day and fans are eagerly waiting for that time to come. Many big names like Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Ahad Raza Mir have been attached to the project and it was rumoured to be directed by Mohammad Ehtashamuddin. But as with the other projects, things did not work out.

Ibn e Adam:

Ibn e Adam was rumoured to bring back Fitoor couple Hiba Bukhari and Faysal Quraishi and other details were not released either. A few BTS did come out for Ibn e Adam which made it look interesting but the drama did not air.

Sanwal Yaar Piya

Sanwal Yaar Piya is another mega project written by Hashim Nadeem and it was supposed to be directed by Wajahat Rauf thus bringing back the Raqs e Bismil writer-director duo. The cast included Feroze Khan, Iqra Aziz and Imran Ashraf making it a big project but after Feroze Khan’s controversy, Iqra Aziz withdrew from the project and now its fate hangs in balance whether it would be made or not and what the cast would be.

Some of these dramas may never release while others may come out sooner than expected nonetheless, these are some exciting projects that people are looking forward to!

Iman also shared that she has slurred speech which is the reason for her not giving many interviews. Iman also revealed that she forgets things while she is talking which makes things difficult for her during live interviews.
