Sarwar Bhatti is the producer of the original film which broke records back in the day and it is still known by everyone.
Sarwar Bhatti was planning to re-release Maula Jatt before his passing, a plan that could not materialize. He suffered a heart attack and passed away in Lahore leaving a huge legacy behind with films like Maula Jatt and Chan Waryam on his credit.

Talking about Shaan Shahid, he said, “Shaan Shahid is the pride of Pakistan who can’t be replaced; he has the potential to do any kind of action role without faking it. These are gimmicks of people to call out the actors with bigger stature”. He also didn’t like Nasir Adeeb’s statements about co-actors.
He further added, “Genuine artists, who are perfect in their craft, are always recognised globally. Many people came and tried to take over the industry, but they can’t be called artists. It’s okay; we also need decoration pieces too. I think it is a very bad habit to pass undue comments about famous artists. Legendary artists should be respected, as film making and content creation is not a one-man show. Artists who work together do wonders”

They are way ahead of us in terms of technology, creativity, and content. They are global stars; their industry has gone international. Our actors should respect each other.”
She further added, “Recently a big director said, ‘Humayun Saeed is bigger than the Khans of Bollywood; he’s more popular and is a bigger star, and I will always prefer him above them.’ I mean, please, why?
