India’s ban on Pakistani media and artists has become a major headline. The ban was imposed by India after blaming Pakistan for India’s false flag operation in Pahalgam. In Pahalgam, unidentified individuals within Indian territory killed their own tourists. Indian government wrongly blamed Pakistan for the incident. Later, an Indian Army General admitted that the incident was staged by India as part of a planned operation.
As a result of the incident, Indian authorities instantly cancelled appearances and releases involving Pakistani artists, including Fawad Khan and Hania Aamir, whose films were expected to premiere soon. Some artists initially tried to side with India, but most mainstream Pakistani actors expressed their disagreement.
