Sargodha city just witnessed a horrific crime today when 7 year old Muntaha was brutally raped and killed. The case went viral on media and social media as it marked yet another case of violence against women and children while they are going on in their normal life. A CCTV video of the victim’s last moments has been found by the police.
Muntaha was just 7 years old. She went to buy snacks from her local shop in Sargodha where she went missing. When she did not return, her family started searching for her while police was also involved. Police found her walking towards the shop at the local street and then she went missing. She was taken and raped by the shopkeeper and his accomplice. She died due to the brutality and they left her on the roof where her body was discovered. Here is her last CCTV footage:
Two people have been arrested in this case. Like normal people, Pakistani celebrities are also horrified and they are raising their voice for justice. Mishi Khan, Iqra Aziz, Imran Abbas and others posted and demanded justice for Sargodha’s Muntaha.
