The Pakistani social media landscape has exploded in the past five years. We now have multiple stars who have come from social media, escaping the old mainstream media route. Social media also provides opportunities to people from different social classes, which has become the reason for much more diversity in the celebrity world. But at the same time, there are no regulations or road maps for who gets fame and what content gets shared online.
Pakistani influencers mostly get famous alongside their family members. Couples’ content sells a lot more than any other genre, and thus, fans feel connected to their everyday lives and relationships. In recent years, we have seen social media couples fight it out in the public domain, and many of them ended up getting divorced after showing the world their fairytale lives. Here is a list of influencers who washed their dirty laundry in public and showed the ugly sides of their marriages:
Rajab Butt & Eman Fatima
Rajab Butt is hands down the most famous Pakistani YouTuber right now. He is known for getting into several controversies and family conflicts. He became a household name after his lavish wedding to Eman Fatima. The wedding was the talk of the town, with money flying all over, big outfits, and big settings. But it turned out to be short-lived as Rajab Butt was soon arrested for receiving an exotic animal as a wedding gift.
Rajab Butt and Eman Fatima had originally lived together for only a month. He had to flee the country after that, while Eman was left in Pakistan as she was pregnant. She gave birth to the couple’s son. They had differences after Rajab’s cheating stories came out. Soon, things started escalating, and family members from both sides were seen slinging mud at each other. It all culminated in Rajab sending a divorce notice to Eman; however, they are not yet divorced. Eman now wants to reconcile with her son, while Rajab is adamant about getting divorced. Dr Nabiha Ali Khan & Haris Khokhar
Dr Nabiha Ali Khan and Haris Khokhar are another Pakistani influencer couple whose relationship journey has been extensively documented on social media. The duo met through an organisation, and they were friends for 5 years. Nabiha went on to announce that she would be getting married soon, and she debuted her then-not-famous husband, Haris Khokhar, at their Nikkah at Maulana Tariq Jamil’s residence. The event took place in November 2025, and it became controversial due to mismanagement.
Soon after, Nabiha and Haris started fighting on social media. They were giving proper interviews, with the Fiza Ali Ramadan special still fresh in the memories of the audience. After a bout of social media fighting, they got back together. However, during the recent round of fighting, they went even further, with Haris calling Nabiha crazy and a leech while Nabiha was openly talking about her “Haq e Zojiyat” in multiple interviews. After dragging each other for their romantic and even sexual problems, they are back together again, making this one of the messiest marriages on Pakistani social media. Ali Hyderabadi & Zainab Ali
Ali Hyderabadi and Zainab Ali are the third Pakistani influencer couple on this list. They both create content on TikTok, and they both got famous not too long ago. Their wedding was also heavily featured on their social media accounts in 2023. They have since been making couples’ content, and things looked fine at a simple glance.
The couple, however, was having problems, as a video of Ali divorcing his wife Zainab while filming a video went viral. Zainab Ali then went online with her hand in a bandage and claimed that she had been abused by Ali for 3 years now, and their marriage is not happy. The divorce then did not happen officially, and there are rumours of the duo getting back together. This was the video from Zainab:

Sehar Hayat & Sami Rasheed
Sehar Hayat is a very famous TikToker and content creator. She is among the OG TikTokers who gained fame on the platform. She turned into an influencer, and her relationships and subsequent marriage were all documented on social media. She got married to a singer, Sami Rasheed, after they both worked together in a video. Her wedding was viral on social media. The couple soon had a daughter, but things did not work out, and people suspected a separation.
Sehar Hayat and Sami Rasheed got divorced, and Sehar has been raising their daughter. After claims of mishandling from both sides and ugly allegations of property takeover and absent parenthood, Sehar took to Instagram and shared that she was abused in this marriage and that she had been deceived since the day of the Nikkah, when her Haq Mehar was fabricated. She was financially responsible for the marriage, and she was still slut-shamed by her then-husband. Sami denies the claims and accuses Sehar Hayat of parental alienation:

Aiman Zaman and Mujtaba Lakhani were another Pakistani social media couple who were all over social media. From their fairytale Nikkah to the way they were always spotted together at events, made them a fan favourite. They were at other influencers’ events and walked fashion runways. They then suddenly stopped getting spotted together, and Aiman announced their separation.
Her husband and content creator, Mujtaba Lakhani, was unhappy with their separation. He later took to a live session and shared that everyone knows their story. His ex-wife chose her career over him, and now she is with someone who can help her career. This is what he had shared online:

Eefrah and Shahrukh were another social media couple who were very famous for their couple and lifestyle content. They were known for their content together, and they looked so much in love, and their fans thought they were an ideal couple and couple goals. However, the fans were in for a shock.
Eefrah one day took to Instagram and shared that the couple was getting divorced. She requested privacy from fans during the difficult time, and they got divorced. There have been so many theories about why they were separated, but the duo never shared the reasons behind it.
