Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo is the classic novel by Farhat Ishtiaq that was adapted into Pakistan’s first original Netflix series through a collaboration between Hum TV and Netflix. The novel was already immensely popular among Pakistani readers after being published in Khawateen Digest in 2009 followed by a book publication in 2013.

While several hit Pakistani dramas have been added to Netflix after their television broadcasts, Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo marks the platform’s first original Pakistani series. The star-studded cast includes Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan, Bilal Ashraf, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Hania Aamir, Iqra Aziz, Sanam Saeed, Ahad Raza Mir, Nadia Khan, and many others. The series is directed and produced by Momina Duraid.

Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo was originally expected to premiere in 2025, but it was not released on time. Following the delay, neither the cast nor the makers shared any updates, with many saying they had no information about whether the project would be released or shelved.

Now, reports suggest that the wait is finally coming to an end. According to the latest reports, Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo is expected to premiere on Netflix towards the end of 2026. It is also being reported that director and producer Momina Duraid is currently overseeing the final editing of the series, while the ensemble cast is expected to begin promotional activities in the coming days.

Pakistani viewers are still finding it difficult to believe the release reports after years of delays. Reacting to the announcement, one fan wrote, “I won’t believe it until they drop the episodes.” Another commented, “I still don’t trust you.” A third fan wrote, “This is going to be huge, but I hope they release it in 2026.” Read the comments below:
