Pakistan and India are engaged in strong and hostile exchanges after the recent conflict between the two regions. On 7th May, India launched air strikes on Pakistan . In retaliation, the Pakistan Air Force targeted Indian military installations, causing significant damage. Although the conflict ended with a ceasefire, actors from both countries continue to exchange heated statements. In Pakistan, celebrities such as Resham, Mishi Khan, Nadia Khan, and Bushra Ansari have spoken out against those spreading hatred. Meanwhile, in India, Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Javed Akhtar, and others have made statements against Pakistan.
Recently, Vivek Oberoi’s father and Kabir Singh and Animal fame Indian actor Suresh Oberoi talked against Pakistan.
Talking about it, he said, “I don’t know about others but I don’t want any Pakistani actor, singer and cricketer to come in India. I don’t even want their players to come here for their game. I know it sounds weird because we say that games and sports are different, nothing is different, haven’t you heard their cricketers and actors’ statements against India. You should be ashamed of yourself for inviting them to India”. Here is a YouTube short link shared by ANI News:
After the Pahalgam false flag and attack, Pakistanis are already quite angry at Indians, including their celebrities. They are now heavily criticizing Suresh Oberoi for his anti-Pakistan statements. Pakistani influencer and actress Romaisa Khan wrote, “His son’s entry is banned in Bollywood movies, and he’s talking against Pakistani actors.” Zhalay Sarhadi said, “Oh my God, they are still at it โ still spreading hate.” A fan commented, “Only one song of his son Vivek Oberoi is famous, ‘Tere Liye,’ and even that was sung by a Pakistani singer, Atif Aslam.” Another wrote, “India, please keep your mouth shut. Can you even live a day without thinking about or being obsessed with Pakistan?” One user pointed out, “His son is living in Dubai, which is a Muslim country.” Social media users added that no Pakistani wants to go to India because it’s the dirtiest place on earth.
