Pamaal is a Green Entertainment prime-time drama serial written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah and directed by Khizer Idrees. It is produced by Tehreem Chaudhary. The story revolves around a writer named Malika, who has lived a tough life both before and after marriage. Raised without a father, Malika idealizes married life as a fairy tale, but her dreams are shattered after marrying Raza, who fails to meet her expectations.

So far, twelve episodes of Pamaal have aired on Green Entertainment. The recent episodes feature the reunion of Raza and Malika in the hospital after a fight. Upon learning about Raza’s condition, Malika visits him in the hospital and hugs her husband — a moment that Green Entertainment aired uncensored. Watch here:
Social media users are criticizing the boldness of the actors and the channel. A fan wrote, “Someone please get Saba Qamar married.” Another commented, “Shame on the director for showing this much intimacy on screen. They’ve started the same vulgarity as Indian channels or Hollywood.” Many said that soon such dramas will begin showing bedroom romance between husband and wife. One user wrote, “We didn’t expect this from Usman Mukhtar. Saba Qamar has always been this bold.” Another commented, “This scene was too uncomfortable to watch.” A viewer asked, “Can we even watch this drama with family or not?” One wrote, “Thank God my father wasn’t sitting with me because this scene was extremely uncomfortable and too close.” Another said, “Saba Qamar often forgets that she’s acting in a Pakistani drama, not a Bollywood film.”
