Parveen Akbar is a seasoned Pakistani actor and a former radio announcer. She has been working in the media industry since 1969. She began her career with Radio Pakistan. Parveen Akbar’s notable dramas are Siyani, Mere Hi Rehna, Ishq Jalebi, Yeh Zindagi Hai, Razia, Khoonb Seerat, Zamani Manzil Ke Maskharay, Ready Steady Go and others. She is married and has three children. Parveen Akbar often shares her beautiful thoughts in the morning shows.
She recently appeared in The 21 MM Show, hosted by Mathira. In the show, she shared her opinions about Sanam Saeed as an actor.
Talking about it, Parveen Akbar said, “Sanam Saeed is a very good actress, but I don’t know why she looks more like a boy than a girl to me — she has these tomboy vibes. Still, she is a very fine actress and a great artist, currently working on Manto.”
Talking about Sanam Saeed’s project Barzakh for Indian TV, she added, “I think she should focus on the script and her character, and not run after money. She must read the script and needs to be very careful about her character, she should know what they want us to portray in their dramas and films.”
