You can say that Pakistani dramas are directly under the scrutiny of the public because of so many social media portals, where netizens can immediately share their opinions. The influencers also point out the dramas when they see any controversial idea being promoted through dramas.
This time, another Big Bang Entertainment drama Ishq Hai is under fire. Previously, netizens strongly criticized Jalan and Nand.
The drama has been produced by Dr Ali Kazmi and Fahad Mustafa. It is directed by Aabis Raza and written by Rehana Aaftab.
An influencer shared the clip from the drama on her twitter and said,
“The #ishqhai 101 on how to get a girl to agree to marry you”, where a lot of netizens jumped in and started criticizing the makers of the drama. It is to be remembered that Fahad Mustafa is criticized previously as well on the controversial plots.
Netizens think that it is a higher level of cringe to watch such dramas.They were of the view that such ideas should be banned on television as they change mindsets and give a pathway to the public to act in certain way. People said that if TV drama makers will stop projecting passionate lovers then there will be a lesser need to conduct Aurat Marches.
