She was missing in action but now she has made a comeback with dramas like Kafeel, Aap Ki Izzat and Dar e Nijaat. She is known for writing spiritual and religious content and this makes her endearing for her fans.
Two of Umera Ahmed’s dramas Aap Ki Izzat and Dar e Nijaat have just started on Hum TV and ARY Digital respectively and the incorporation of Tilawat e Quran and Islamic teachings is what is catching the attention of the audience. Dar e Nijaat started with Sheheryar Munawar’s character Abu Bakr reciting the Holy Quran while we saw Beena requesting her mother to recite Surah Rehman in Aap Ki Izzat so she can find peace in her heart.
