Danish Taimoor is one of the biggest stars of Pakistan. Last year he started hosting a Ramadan transmission and things got really out of hand when his own wife Ayeza Khan came to the show as a guest. Danish was speaking with scholars about polygamy but he ended up saying that he has the permission to marry four times but “filhaal” he is not considering it. It ended up becoming a huge problem for him and he received criticism from everywhere.
Rabia Anum is the co-host of the show and she also witnessed this in real-time. Rabia was a guest on Ahmed Randhawa’s podcast, The Green Room and spoke about that controversy. She shared that Danish Taimoor has a very positive energy and he is very respectful and to the point. She has loved working with him.
She said that Danish had spoken about polygamy before too but it became a big thing when Ayeza Khan was sitting right across him. She added that Filhaal is, in her opinion, a slip of tongue. Later Danish made an apology video about it and clarified that he was just making a statement in a general sense, but it really went viral.
