Recently, Rabia Noreen appeared on Mazaqraat, where she opened up about marrying Abid Ali and life after him.

Remembering Abid Ali, Rabia Noreen became teary-eyed and emotional. She said, “I got emotional because his deep words reminded me of Abid Ali. He is with me all the time. Yes, I keep myself busy in daily chores, but he was a shelter for me, he was protection, he was my life, and no one can live without their lifeline. Sorry, I didn’t want to get emotional in front of the audience.” She further added that they first met on an airplane when she was part of the cabin crew. It was a normal meeting and more of a fan moment for her, but they later reconnected in Quetta when she was working on a serial with Abid Ali. After that, they got married in 2006. While talking about the qualities she liked in Abid Ali, Rabia Noreen said, “It is a strange thing — none of us trapped the other. We didn’t make deliberate efforts to make each other fall in love. It happened naturally. I was a reserved person, and I had heard he was strict, so I used to fear him and kept myself composed. But I was observing his nature with the cast and crew. He cared for every person on set and was concerned about everyone’s meals and rest. After wrapping up the outdoor shoot of the drama, I was with Abid Ali. I was afraid too. We had completed our shoot, and when we got free at 4:00 am, he took the whole crew to food street for dinner.’
Talking about expressing her feelings to Abid Ali, Rabia Noreen said, “The moment I realized I had feelings for him was the day he didn’t send me a ‘good morning’ text, which we had been sending to each other for around six months. I met him, expressed my feelings, and clarified that I didn’t want to be in an awkward position because he was a married man with children. I said we should stop this right here because it could trouble his married life. To this, he said not to overthink the circumstances and to let things move naturally. He didn’t agree with my suggestion of ending the relationship.” Watch here:
