Recently, Raeed Muhammad Alam appeared on Fahad Abid’s podcast, where he revealed why Nauman Ijaz slapped him during the shooting of a scene.



Talking about it, he said, “When I started my career, I didn’t know how to cry. I had scenes with Nauman Ijaz, and I had a few dialogues that required me to cry. I did multiple takes for a particular scene, but I couldn’t cry. I’m one of those people who can’t use glycerine because it makes my eyes itch. Nauman Bhai asked me, ‘Are you having difficulty crying?’ I said yes. He slapped me. Seriously, he slapped me so hard. Then he said, ‘Now the child will cry well.’ I told him, ‘Nauman Bhai, it was a hard hit.’ But our seniors deserve our respect. They are amazing.
