Recently, Rajab Butt opened up about his financial struggles before becoming wealthy.

Talking about it, he said, “Yes, we have been through difficult times. I have already talked about it; it’s not a very old story—around seven to eight years ago. My mother used to stitch clothes. She is the eldest of seven siblings. Her father was a hosiery factory master, and her two brothers have their own factories. There was a time when my mother and father were in Kuwait, but then a phase came when we had nothing, and my mother started stitching clothes. My father was doing a small job. There was a day when we had nothing to eat. We used to live in a one-room apartment. It was the last days of the month. My father was at work, and we had nothing to eat. In the same society, my khala used to live but we didn’t ask anything from her. We had to take 900 rupees from an aunty who used to get her clothes stitched by my mother. We got stuck in the rain and reached her house with great difficulty, but she didn’t give us the money. We came back empty-handed, crying. We drank milk and went to sleep. I can never forget that incident of my life.” Here is the link to the video:
