Amjad Sabri was a famous Pakistani qawwal who tragically lost his life in 2016. He was shot dead by unidentified gunmen during the holy month of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak. He was around 39 years old at the time of his death and left behind five children and two wives. Amjad Sabri’s sudden and tragic passing was shocking for his fans. His house and colony were surrounded by people, all of whom were crying over his untimely and heartbreaking demise.
The legendary Qawal was given a ghusl by Chippa Foundation owner Ramzan Chippa who has recently revealed the surprising details about Amjad Sabri’s final Ghusl.
Talking about it, Mr Chippa said, “Whenever I give Ghusl to dead bodies, I witness various things. For example, when I was giving Ghusl to Amjad Sabri, I stopped for a moment and stepped back from the bath because he suddenly started smiling. I was shivering. I called his family and showed them; they all witnessed it and started praying for him. Only Allah knows the reality behind such occurrences, but we often experience different things—sometimes, we even see dead bodies in pain.
