Famous writer Amna Mufti recently defended Nida Yasir and her morning show content. Amna Mufti is a brilliant Pakistani writer who has written multiple hit dramas including Sabz Pari Laal Kabootar, Ghughi, Akhri Station, Dil Na Umeed Tau Nahi, Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi, Dil Muhallay Ki Haveli, Rukhsati, Neelam Kinaray, Jahez and others. She is known for writing issue based dramas and her drama serial Dil Na Umeed Tau Nahi was a brilliant piece of writing that discussed Human trafficking and other illegal businesses.
Lately, she discussed Nida Yasir’s morning show content and her target audience. Amna Mufti recently appeared in Irfan Asghar’s podcast. In the podcast, Amna Mufti defended Nida Yasir’s morning show Good Morning Pakistan. She added that her entertainment content is primarily designed for the housewives.
Talking about Nida Yasir’s show, Amna Mufti said, “The show’s target audience is a housewife who sends her husband to the office and used to watch her show while cutting spinach at her house, the show is her me-time activity. She would definitely find Nida Yasir’s Dubai shopping more interesting than her house chores. Her shopping is more like a medicine for that house wife. Why do you want to make every show lesson orientated. Our intellectual elites do injustice while criticizing the content because they have all other sources of entertainment at their house, why do they want to snatch it from a normal housewife”
