Resham said, “I watched a video on social media in which a theatre actor was spewing venom against Bushra Ansari. Her words and accent were so obnoxious that I felt embarrassed that an artist from my city Lahore was degrading a legend like Bushra Ansari, who has always made Pakistan proud through her work. She is such a great person who always speaks with wisdom. I was ashamed to hear it. Bushra Ansari ji, I apologize for her words. Unfortunately, it has become a habit of some Lahore-based actors to target big artists just for attention. Previously, Firdous Jamal targeted Humayun Saeed. To criticize Bushra Ansari, you first need to reach her level. I am deeply saddened by her words against such a legendary actor.”
