Resham is a brilliant Pakistani television and film actor who has acted in numerous hit plays and films. She got fame through her PTV dramas followed by her hit films Sangam and Jeeva. Resham has also worked in Ashk and Man O Salwa. Actress Resham is also popular for her kind acts and her charitable work. She also arranges big feasts for the deserving people in almost every Holy Month. In 2021, film actress Resham got a presidential award for her services for film and television. The senior actress Sakina Samo didn’t like the list of artists which were awarded by the President of Pakistan. She said that Ali Zafar and Resham didn’t deserve the awards.
Recently, Resham appeared in The Talk Talk Show where she gave befitting reply to Sakina Samo. Talking about Sakina Samo, Resham said, “I don’t want to talk about her, such people are hypocrites, may Allah forgive, I didn’t say anything about her but she was in a lot of pain when I got the pride of performance. It was the reward for my work, a lot of artists including Ali Zafar got Pride of performance awards but she could not bear this. I did a play Muafi with her, she praised my work a lot but check her hypocrisy, I got award on my work Sakina Ji. I don’t know why she got so much offended with my award, I have worked a lot with dedication and gave due respect to my colleagues, ask from my colleagues that what kind of person Resham is? Everyone will tell you about my hardwork and honesty, who are you to say that I got an award uselessly?.”
