Romaisa Khan, one of the breakout stars of Hum TV’s hit horror-comedy Jinn Ki Shadi Unki Shadi, recently shared a surprising story about her first meeting with co-star Wahaj Ali.
The drama, which also features Sehar Khan, Sidra Niazi, and Arsalan Naseer, is a viral sensation, with episodes averaging 4 million views. But for Romaisa, meeting a seasoned actor like Wahaj Ali—who is back on TV screen after the hit Geo TV series Sunn Mere Dil—was an intimidating experience.
In an interview with Something Haute, Romaisa confessed that she felt “afraid and kind of intimidated by his stardom” when she first encountered Wahaj on set. However, the ice was quickly broken by a surprisingly casual chat.
Recounting the moment, Romaisa shared:
“He came and we greeted each other. When he asked, ‘When is your birthday?’ to which I said, ’10 December.’ He said, ‘Oh, mine is on the 4th, so we both are Sagittarius.’ It was all this non-serious type of conversation, to which I was quite surprised because he’s a star. He is the nicest person to work with on set.
