Rubi Anum is a senior Pakistani TV, stage and theatre actor who is admired for her great hit stage shows and excellent comic timing. She recently made headlines on social media after calling out Bushra Ansari and Asma Abbas Gill. The comedian said that Bushra Ansari is a very senior artist who should now take rest and should behave as per her age. She also called out Asma Abbas for her over the top fashion choices.
Rubi Anum has now finally responded to Bushra Ansari statement in detail. She said that she is embarrassed after senior people scolded her for her statement against Bushra Ansari.
Talking about it, Rubi Anum said, “If I have hurt anybody, I sincerely apologize to all of them, especially my seniors who love me. I apologize to everyone, including Amma (Amman TV Air Main Host) , Khalid Abbas Dar, and Mohsin Gillani. Nowadays, everything happens simultaneously— like our conversations, editing was happening at the same time, also you know that how naughty and playful I am. In the entire interview, I did not speak badly about anyone. It was just one moment where I said something in fun, and it was recorded. I didn’t realize what happened at that time. Asma Abbas and I share deep love and respect—how could I ever degrade or disrespect her? In fact, I even said, “How can I say something like that to her?” That’s just my way of talking which is blunt. I truly apologize. We were simply having a discussion, and the editor added it in. Once again, I apologize. I never want to hurt anyone, and I cannot be successful in life by degrading others, especially my seniors. May Allah help us all.
