Lately, Rubina Ashraf appeared in Wasi Shah’s show Zabardast, in the show, she talked about her anger issues, anger management and her struggles during her illness.
Talking about her anger issues, Rubina Ashraf said, “I want to reduce anger from my life because I believe anger is a very constructive force as long as you use it for yourself. I can use my anger for my personal benefits instead of wasting my energy on calling others out for their wrongdoings because I know that my reaction for that particular person is justified, but it will drain my energy in a negative way and the other person will only see my negativity, he won’t correct himself. Now, I am learning the art of making others understand in subtle and articulate manner”.
Talking about her struggles when she had COVID, she said, “I was suffering from COVID; during that, I was in pain. I was struggling and was angry; it was my only survival skill. I remember I treated my daughter badly during that time; I was blaming her, I became selfish, and I thought I wasn’t taken care of in a proper manner. As a patient, I was unaware of her struggles. I was only seeing myself. After I was discharged from the hospital, I saw the real struggle of my family, because I couldn’t do anything, and they were just doing everything to save me”
She also said that she wanted to give more time to her home as an actor. Here is the link to the video:
