Currently, Ruby Anum makes fewer television appearances due to her heart condition; however, she still appears in interviews and occasional comedy shows.
Recently, Ruby Anum appeared on Sabih Sumair’s podcast, where she made rude remarks about senior Pakistani television and film artist Bushra Ansari. She mocked Bushra for frequently updating fans about her travels.
Talking about Bushra Ansari, she said, “Bushra Ansari is my favorite — I like her — but this is a lie. She should rest now. She’s not at an age where she should constantly be filming vlogs while packing her luggage for abroad and saying, ‘I’m packing up for abroad.’ Stop it! You’ve become old now; you’re even older than our mothers. Asma Abbas is a great person — she respects me and gives me protocol — I can’t say this to her face, but why are you people so over? What is it that doesn’t let you stop from doing such over-the-top things? Why to go for a matching pair of shoes with every outfit, what is with having so much make up on faces which doesn’t even suit you and I can’t understand why?
