Sadia Imam is a former Pakistani television actress and a brilliant host. Her hit TV dramas include Pehli Barish, Rani Beti, Sirf Aik Bar, Ijazat, Bilquees Kaur, Musafat, Uljhan, Hum Se Juda Na Hona, Mera Naseeb, Colony 52, and others. She has also hosted shows on Samaa TV. Sadia got married in 2012 and moved to Germany to live with her husband. She is now the mother of an adorable daughter, Meerub.

Today, Sadia Imam appeared on Samaa TV’s morning show Subh Ka Samaa, which is hosted by Madeha Naqvi. During the show, she revealed the reality of modern-day marriages and relationships.

Talking about this, Sadia Imam said, “Nowadays, men are also looking for shortcuts when it comes to getting married. All they want is a doctor, a job holder, or someone professional who is earning money. One of my friends called me from the USA and said, ‘Please, Sadia, find me a good proposal for my son. It would be even better if she is a doctor.’ I asked her why—do you want her to earn? Just find an educated woman, no matter what job she does. They want a daughter-in-law who is beautiful, rich, a doctor, and an expert in household chores. They also expect her to bring a car with her. On the other hand, girls’ families are greedy for status and position. One of my cousins got married to a girl who chose him out of greed because he is a television actor’s cousin. She wanted her husband to gain fame through me.” Here is the link to the video.
