Former Actress and Kya Drama Hai’s co-host Sadia Imam has recently criticized Faysal Quraishi’s Look from the drama serial. She is of the view that Faysal Quraishi could have chosen a mature getup for Zaviyar’s character.
Talking about Faysal Quraishi’s Look in Raaja Rani, she said, “What kind of drama is this? I’ve been saying this since the first episode aired—there’s just too much makeup. Zaviyar’s character is stuck at a certain age mentally, and we understand that. But why make him clean-shaven and apply layers of foundation just to make him look younger? It’s not working. I don’t understand why Faysal Bhai agreed to this. His makeup looks very prominent on screen. Imran Ashraf has played such a character perfectly in the past—because it was all natural. Here, the makeup is too visible, also the lighting is so poor. This character should have been executed differently. He should physically look like a mature person. The role could have been portrayed with a beard—it would have looked excellent.”
