Sadia Imam is a very famous name of Pakistani entertainment. She ruled over the drama industry in the early 2000s and her shows used to top for viewership. She is very down to earth and she has maintained her stardom over the years. Sadia Imam is nowadays seen in live shows and she has also conducted her own morning shows and live transmissions. She has been away from dramas for some time now and she shared her reason for it.
Sadia was a guest on Express TV and she shared her reasons for not appearing in the dramas anymore. She said that motherhood is what changed her priorities. She cannot make time for dramas now and her whole concentration and focus is always towards her daughter as she does not want her to complain when she grows up that her mother did not give her proper time.

She also got emotional sharing the reason behind naming her daughter Meerab. She revealed that she is spiritually close to Hazrat Abbas Ghazi RA and she thought she would name her child after him if he was a boy and since she had a daughter, she named her Meerab.

Sadia Imam also talked about the responsibilities of a parent. She said that she does not have a Masters or PhD degree but she has her manners and that is something she as a parent has tried to teach her daughter and transfer her knowledge of good behaviour in her.
