Sahar Hashmi was a guest on Hasna Mana Hai where she talked about getting an offer for Zulm. She revealed that she received an offer from Hum TV and they wanted her to do an audition. She flew out and did an audition and she was expecting a smaller side role but she was shocked to get the main lead. She was also scared of working with a big star like Faysal Quraishi.
Sahar Hashmi praised Faysal Quraishi. She shared how he went out of his way to demonstrate to her how to do her intense scenes. She was scared of pushing him off during certain action sequences but he made her comfortable. This translated to a great performance and she was thankful for how cooperative the star was.
