Bagga has composed numerous hit tracks for top singers like Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and others. He is admired for his bassy vocals and powerful high notes. His iconic songs include Baazi, Mast Malang, Ehd-e-Wafa, and Bharosa Pyar Tera. The musician boasts a strong Instagram following of 1.8 million. A few months ago, he released the song Mastani, which has garnered 5.5 million views on YouTube. His composition Zaroori Tha was the first Pakistani song to cross two billion views.
Recently, Sahir Ali Bagga appeared on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast Excuse Me, where he revealed that two big Pakistani singers had refused to sing the ISPR song Pakistan Zindabad.
Talking about it, Sahir Ali Bagga said, “Now, Pakistan Zindabad is the song that I sang on very high notes. When I made the composition and the song, I made it for two big singers of Pakistan. Like, two people were supposed to sing one song—both big names in Pakistan—but they didn’t sing it. If you ask me, I will reveal their names later in the show. They refused; they didn’t even listen to the song. One even said, ‘If he has made the song, I will not sing it.’ I said, ‘Okay.’ I knew what I had made, and it was approved by ISPR as well, so I had to sing it in high notes. Although I am not a high-note singer, for high notes, you have to practice well. I had to practice a lot for Pakistan Zindabad.” Here is the link to the video:
