Sajal Aly is a brilliant Pakistani television and film actor. She is famous for her exceptional acting performances in hit dramas such as “Aangan,” “Yakeen Ka Safar,” “Yeh Dil Mera,” “Sinf E Aahan,” “Ishq E Laa,” and “Kuch Ankahi,”. The brilliant actor recently voiced her statement about the distribution and nominations of Lux Style Awards.
Firstly Sajal Aly praised awards in general because of their purpose of recognizing the talent. Sajal Aly also expressed her disappointment regarding the LSA’s selection process, she advised LSA to consider hard working actors like Mehwish Hayat, Zara Noor Abbas, and Ushna Shah in the nominations, who delivered stellar performances in notable projects.
While Expressing her views about it on Instagram story, Sajal Aly wrote, “Award shows are a great way to appreciate art and artists and to encourage us as actors. I request Lux Style Awards and their jury to at least nominate those who have done stellar work. It is greatly disappointing to me as an artist that LSA routinely ignores other artists who are doing great work. For example, Mehwish Hayat who was great in London Nahi Jaunga. Zara Noor Abbas for Badshah Begum and Ushna Shah for Habs. Who exactly are the jury members, do they watch our shows even? Or do they simply choose who is popular? It is one thing to not win an award but to simply be ignored even if you have done great work is heartbreaking to not just one artist but to all.
