Recently, the topic discussed on Madeha Naqvi’s morning show Subh Ka Samaa made headlines for addressing the inappropriate behavior of husbands with domestic maids.
The show featured several guests, including Ghazal Siddiqui and Ghazala Javed. One of the speakers from the public, whose face was covered with a mask, shared a disturbing incident regarding her husband who has a guest house business.
The speaker revealed that she caught her husband with a maid after chasing them to the house where they were meeting alone. She also revealed that she had already received multiple warnings about her husband’s inappropriate activities from the building’s watchman. The other guest speakers also said that the fault lies with her husband who responded to such a woman positively. Social media users are criticizing Samaa TV for discussing the bold topic on a public forum. One social media user wrote, “What kind of discussions are being introduced in our morning shows? These topics are giving people ideas.” Another commented, “Our society is full of immoral people and evil, but discussing such matters on television will only contribute to the rise of these sins.” A third user wrote, “Men here get angry when women speak about such matters because they know they are flirtatious with every woman even maids”. Fans said such topics should not be discussed openly. Many also said that if women gave proper time to their husbands, the men wouldn’t stray.
