Sami Khan is a versatile actor who has been a part of the industry for over two decades now. He has worked in both films and television and the actor has been really successful. He just gave back to back hits with Faraar and Duniyapur and he sat for an interview with Nukta Life. He shared his opinions on the trends in dramas, what needs to change and what keeps him going.
Recently we have seen a growing trend of glamourizing the bad boys in dramas. We saw it happening with Shuja Asad in Khaie and recently Nameer Khan in Qarz e Jaan. The public not only loved the very flawed characters played by the actors but also sympathized with them far more than the real victims in their respective dramas.
Sami Khan spoke about this trend and had a very rational take on what is going on. He gave a reference to his drama Inkaar where he said that nowadays people do not like to win love, they like to snatch it. He said that negative characters have been glamourized and we need to understand that there is not always a logic behind a bad person. A person can just be criminal by nature and we should learn from such characters that what we should not do in life.
