Saba Faisal is one of the most famous stars of Pakistan currently working in the drama industry. She started her career as a newscaster and later transitioned towards acting. Saba Faisal recently said in an interview that a daughter-in-law needs to ask for permission from her mother-in-law if she wants to take a 10 minute nap. If her mother-in-law is not available then she can ask her sister-in-law for permission. The statement was deemed misogynistic and she came under a lot of scrutiny. This is what she said:

She said that if you are demanding such things from your daughter-in-law then you are insecure and you are showing your insecurity. She added this is a brain problem and this is to show power over your family. She advised women to stop repeating cycles of abuse with their daughters-in-law.
