Sanam Jung is a well known Pakistani television host and actor who is praised for her excellent acting in the hit Pakistani television projects. Morning show hosting also fetched her a huge popularity. Sanam Jung’s famous dramas are Mein Na Janoo, Qaraar, Alvida, Haya, Dil-e-Muztar, Muhabbat Subh Ka Sitara Hai, Mere Humdam Mere Dost, Pyari Mona and Dhoka. She is currently on a break from acting following the birth of her second daughter. Sanam Jung has a strong Instagram following of more than 2.5 million.
Sanam Jung recently appeared in Good Morning Pakistan, hosted by Nida Yasir. In the show Sanam opened up about her life in USA.
Talking about it, she said, “Seriously, I miss everything I used to enjoy in Pakistan. We often take family and support systems for granted — you only realize their value after moving abroad. It’s not that I’m alone in the USA; I’ve made new friends, and I have cousins and friends here too. But they live about a 30-minute drive away. You can’t just drop your child off at your mother’s like you could back home. Here, you have to do everything on your own — from picking and dropping the kids to taking care of your toddler.”
She further added, “I started vlogging because it was the way out for me whenever I used to feel alone, I used to talk with the fans. It is my way to relax — I feel better after sharing a vlog. In the beginning, it was difficult for me. I used to cry on the balcony and would often fall into depression especially in the evening. Now the system is set — I’ve made friends. I knew I had to shift to the USA because Qassam has a job there. I went for a vacation, but when I was coming back, Qassam stopped us because he was feeling so lonely there. He enjoyed spending time with us. There is so much loneliness when you live abroad alone. The hard times were faced by Qassam. I had the support of our parents, but he had to go through it alone.”
