Saqib Sumeer is a versatile and talented Pakistani actor who began his acting journey at NAPA and is now one of the most excellent Pakistani character actors. His notable dramas are Jhok Sarkar, Khuda Aur Mohabbat, Dampukht, Raqeeb Se, Gentleman, Stand Up Girl, and others. Fans also praised him in Aik Mohabbat Aur and the reality show Tamasha.
Recently, Saqib Sumeer appeared on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast Excuse Me, where he indirectly mocked Gentleman while Ahmed Ali Butt pointed out the drama’s name and said it was a substandard job.
Saqib Sumeer said, “A lot of times, you have a great writer, director, and producer, but that project turns out to be a failure.” To which Ahmed Ali Butt said, “Why are you seeing and laughing at me? It is not a Gentleman behaviour,” to which Saqib Sumeer said, “I didn’t say it for Gentleman.” Ahmed, however, added a harsh statement, saying, “I have worked with you, though. Saqib Sumeer also claimed, “Sometimes you have writers who force you; you can’t change the script, but I have even done that. I had done improvisation in his (Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar’s) scripts as well. I did his Gentleman and Pyaray Afzal.
