Sarah Omair is a famous Pakistani television actress who started working in dramas at a young age, her first serial was Thora Sa Aasma for Ptv in 2008. Sarah Umair’s popular dramas were Roug, Kathputli, Thora Sa Aasma and Maaye Nee. Sarah Omair has also won a Desi Kuriyaan season which aired on ARY Digital. Sarah was a prominent name till 2014 but she disappeared from media industry after getting married to famous Pakistani director Mohsin Talat and has two sons.
Sarah Omair recently appeared in The Buzz after her elimination from Tamasha 4. In the show, hosted by Hassan Choudhury, she opened up about her divorce from ex husband Mohsin Talat.
Talking about it, Sarah Omair said, “The reason why I joined Tamasha was, I wanted a break from so many things because me and my ex-husband are from the same fields, so, we come across each other more often. I think I should tell now everyone—many people already know that I got divorced recently, just a few months before coming to Tamasha. At that time, I was in a difficult phase. I am a single parent and faced multiple hurdles; I was mentally disturbed. Tamasha is a place where you have no connections, no entertainment, no meet-ups, no phones. I had once wished to be in a place with no signals. I needed peace of mind because I was frustrated, and Allah granted the opportunity to me. So, I found peace for a few weeks. When I recorded the promo, I said, ‘I had already been through enough in my life, so Tamasha would just be a piece of cake for me’.
