Sarwat Gilani is a very talented artist, activist and woman who speaks about topics that are generally considered taboo in society. She was on a podcast by Rukhsat and she shared her thoughts on marriage, companionship and generational traumas. The starlet advised youngsters to get married in their 30s and not in their 20s. In Pakistan after 24, people are considered to be expired milk but Sarwat wants Gen Z to change things.
Sarwat also spoke about how arranged marriages sometimes take an edge over love marriages. She said there are no guarantees nowadays. People build expectations from zero in an arranged setting and that sometimes work while a 6 year long love relationship can end within minutes. Sarwat herself is happily married to Fahad Mirza and shares three children with him.
