Dr Arfa Sayeda Zehra was a big name among the intellectual community of Pakistan. She was an educationist, activist and a voice of reason and culture. She graduated from Lahore College For Women University and Government College University Lahore and then went to Hawai USA for her PhD. She came back and served in the education sector of Pakistan. The educationist served as Principal at Government College for Women, Gulberg and later served at FC University Lahore.
Dr Arfa Syeda Zehra was a name of credibility in education. She always raised her voice for the need of educational reforms, democratic values and women’s rights. She represented Pakistan globally and her words had strength and weight whenever she gave a statement. She always supported promoting Pakistani culture and uplifting the women of the nation.
Dr Arfa Syeda Zehra also served as Special Advisor to Prime Minister on Education and National Cohesion. She also co-chaired the National Committee on the Status of Women. She passed away today leaving behind a big void for Pakistan and a strong voice for women left this world.
