Khawaja Saleem is a veteran actor of Pakistan who has appeared in countless dramas in his career. He was not working for some time now and the news is out now that the star is not well. The actor has been suffering from severe diabetes for a few years now and now he is going through the worst phase of the disease.
Khawaja Saleem spoke to Daily Point and shared that his foot turned gangrenous due to severe diabetes and two of his toes were amputated. He is in pain as he lost his body parts but his health is improving as his family has supported him throughout and they have been his strength.

He also spoke about how he has not much money but his family has always been his rock through this phase. Speaking about financial difficulties, Khawaja Saleem also appreciated Sohail Ahmed and Shagufta Ejaz for being on his side. He said that he loves all his artists but these two have always supported him in difficulties. He asked the authorities to help him in difficult times at least from the taxes that he has paid over the years.
