Talking about it, Shaan Shahid said, “In Pakistan, everything that has been given importance has flourished or developed. I was hinting at this time when Pakistan and India will eventually have a bad patch and it will create hurdles for our artists. I had always been saying this to the actors to stop going to India. By saying this, I didn’t mean to impose my opinion on them. It’s my decision not to work in India. In fact, I have been deeply discussing its pros and cons—their humiliation and hate to our actors.
