It was in an Award show in 2014 that Shaan bluntly passed comments on the Pakistani stars who were working across the border. He got little personal with Ali Zafar, while labeling all the artists as “cheap sell-outs”.
In the same show when Ali Zafar received the award ,in his speech he said that it was not right the way Shaan said about the artists working in India as “Sell outs”.
Ali Zafar also said, “We make excuses to hide our weaknesses, sometimes, in the name of patriotism, sometimes, in the name of other things. We should speak the truth and the time has come when the new generation should be told the truth.”
But now as we know that Ali has decided to do a Pakistani film, Shan has posted on his Facebook a very heart-warming post and its seems that both are friends again. Shan we are really proud of you the way you have welcomed Ali Zafar to the local film industry,
