Shaan Shahid is a very famous Pakistani film star known for his hit, action-packed films such as Waar, Khuda Kay Liye, Zarrar, Yalghaar, Nikah, Majajan, Zille Shah, Mujhe Chaand Chahiye, Sangam, and many others. He belongs to a renowned showbiz family—his father, Riaz Shahid, was a legendary Pakistani director who had a deep love for Pakistan, while his mother, Neelo Begum, was also an established actress. Recently, the actor delivered two back-to-back films, Bhullah and Psycho, which were well received by fans.

Recently, Shaan Shahid appeared on a Geo TV podcast hosted by Mubashar Hashmi. During the podcast, he compared the new The Legend of Maula Jatt to the original blockbuster film.

While replying to the question, “Didn’t Bilal Lashari approach you for The Legend of Maula Jatt’s lead?” Shaan Shahid said, “He didn’t approach me. Everyone has their own group or comfort zone where they feel comfortable. Everyone feels comfortable with their own people or friends. Sometimes, working with experienced people isn’t good for them because it becomes challenging. They think experienced people will get all the praise and credit. That’s his call; he has his own group. I have seen the original classic Maula Jut, not the new one The Legend of Maula Jatt. Original one was remarkable. I have seen the real Maula Jatt after which one cannot enjoy the copied one”
